FINISHED my FIRST (and maybe LAST) Marathon!!

Short-Term Running Goals:

Get into better running shape.  Train to run a good 1/2 marathon - probably Painters in Jan.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Get into running shape and stay there.  Run until I physically can't.  Run the St George Marathon next year (hopefully I'll get in).  Finish TOU strong (hopefully around 5 hours, long I know).

Personal:

I am married to the greastest guy and I have 5 awesome kids - 15, 14, 10, and 3 yr old twins.

Day 2 was a lot tougher.  I had no energy and walked most of the 2 miles.  Did a little running the last 2 laps.

It takes signing up for a race to get me back on the exercise track.  My friend talked me into signing up for the Cottonwood Heights Thanksgiving 5K.  I'd been thinking about it all fall but just never got going.  So, now the week of the 5K I got back on the treadmill.  It felt good but I'm so out of shape.
