Our group had decided to do a power walk today in preparation for our long run tomorrow.  It was raining so we went inside on the track :(  It's been a long time since I went on the track and I definitely prefer being outside.

We walked for 37 minutes and did some good stretching at the end.  I took the opportunity to play with my Garmin a little and figured out how to work the interval timer on it.

Running in the rain is only miserable for the first few minutes, then it's quite enjoyable. Much more so than a track! I ran Running with Angels and am going to be doing Heart of Holladay. We need a blogger check point so people can meet! I am also training for my first marathon. Still trying to get into SGM. I am hoping to win the guaranteed entry at H of H! If that doesn't work I'm looking at the charity option.

I think Kim is right! Rain or shine, tomorrow it's 9 miles!!!! We are marathon girls! Thanks Kim for the little push! Kim, I used to go to Marions WW class, I saw your link on her website and that is how I got on this blog, so thanks Kim again!

Hey Leslie, Welcome! I'm glad you are here! We'll have to help each other along on our marathon journey. I'll go check out your blog right now.

Kim - thanks for the comment. I agree we need to meet up at these races. I'm also trying to get into SGM via HofH. i'm really not that lucky but I can hope.

Watch for the people with the FRB singlet on at the races. That is a good way to find each other. I think Sasha will be at the H of H. He knows a lot of the bloggers and can help point people out.
