Get into good shape and stay there.

It takes signing up for a race to get me back on the exercise track.  My friend talked me into signing up for the Cottonwood Heights Thanksgiving 5K.  I'd been thinking about it all fall but just never got going.  So, now the week of the 5K I got back on the treadmill.  It felt good but I'm so out of shape.

That will do it Lisa Lou!! That is why I always have a race on the calendar! Who is doing it with you? I am walking the route and starting early. No racing for me tomorrow, but I want to be around all the excitment. I will cheer for you!!

Day 2 was a lot tougher.  I had no energy and walked most of the 2 miles.  Did a little running the last 2 laps.
